  We were very pleased with Elliott's services during our bankruptcy and preparation of our Will. He and his paralegal Ellen are an amazing team who take care of every detail prior to submitting the filing. Elliott is very forthright in explaining the potential challenges and researches new case law to prepare the best outcome for each individual client. He is always fully prepared at the hearings and promptly returns phones calls. Ellen is very generous with her time. She explains the process, walks you through the necessary forms and answers questions thoroughly. Most of us our novice with legal procedures and it can feel overwhelming starting the process. They always return calls and reply to e-mails the same day which is rare in the legal industry. I highly recommend Elliott, and in fact, have referred close family members who had a very successful outcome as well.

  Declaring bankruptcy was an incredibly difficult emotional decision for me to make. But when I finally came to terms with the fact that my business had failed, and I simply had no way to repay the debt that I had accumulated, I stumbled upon Elliott Abrams. Elliott explained the procedure to me in great detail, and without judgment. As a result, I signed the papers to retain him as my attorney, and left the office. Life has a funny way of throwing twists and turns at us. Four years later… after unexpectedly having to deal with a seemingly unending series of difficult events… including cancer… I still had not filed. And during that period of time, Elliott, and his AMAZING legal assistant, Ellen Johnson, hung in there with me. They always were there for me. They had my back! I’ve finally filed at this time, but frankly… without the assistance and never ending emotional support I received from Ellen, I don’t know that I would have made it. And when I walked back into Elliott’s office, with the paperwork ready for my signature… Elliott was waiting, still without judgment, as he patiently and compassionately took me through the signing of the documents. And when I left, it was with the feeling that a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders. Am I suggesting that bankruptcy is an easy answer or that we shouldn’t act responsibly? No. Never! But, if that time should come for you, also… when there isn’t another choice, please go to Elliott Abrams. I promise that you won’t regret your decision! Note: I apologize for not using my name.
